Permissions PDFLoom uses
The installer asks for administrator approval once, to write to Program Files. After that, PDFLoom runs as a normal program under your own Windows account.
- Files you choose. It opens only the files you add by dragging them in or using “browse”.
- One output folder. It saves results to
Documents\PDFLoom, or to another folder you choose. - A small app cache. The app window keeps its data in
%LOCALAPPDATA%\PDFLoom. - Your installed fonts. Text to PDF uses fonts already on your PC. For a few scripts such as Hindi or Thai it may use the Microsoft Edge already installed on your PC, offline, with a temporary profile that is deleted afterwards.
- No internet use. The app does not upload files, check for updates or send any data.
- No system changes. No startup entries, services, scheduled tasks, browser or search changes, and no other software installed.
Pricing
PDFLoom is free for personal and business use.
- All eight tools are included, with no limits on files or pages.
- No watermarks, no ads and no account.
- No paid upgrade or in-app purchases. We never ask for card details.
Because PDFLoom is free there is nothing to refund. See the Refund Policy if anyone has charged you for it.
